Kevin's group Tenth World is a combination ofmusical styles that can be best described as jazz influenced by the rhythms of the African and Neo-African diaspora. It is truly Tradition and Non-Tradition alike. Tu Boca and Reminiscence were written by pianist and producer Kelvin Sholar. The CD itself is a collaboration of Kevin and Kelvin. the Artists featured on this CD are Marvin "Bugalu" Smith - Drums, Talib Kibwe - Saxophone and Flute, Az'shi Osada - Bass, Charles Hopkins - Drums (on Tu Boca), Chuck McPherson -Drums and percussion on 2 tracks (Horizons and Mango Mangue) and Carla Brothers - Spoken Word Vocals.
