Artist History
DUB IS A WEAPON was formed in 2001, when guitarist
and composer DAVE HAHN met trumpeter TODD SIMON
after the both sat in with the EASY STAR ALL-STARS.
After ripping through a delightful set of classic
dub standards, Hahn and Simon decided that they
needed to put together a new unit that could play
original dub. Dave Hahn set to work composing a
number of tunes for this group, and started recording
these new tunes during the rest of 2001. |
