Artist History
APRIL 2000 - The band formed, writing their first two songs, 'Walk On Water' and 'In Over My Head'.||||
SEPTEMBER 2000 - The band enter a regional 'Battle of the bands' competition, going through to the semi-finals.||||
OCTOBER 2000 - Lipp Lucid play the semi-final and progress to the final.||||
NOVEMBER 2001 - The band records their first CD, entitled 'Debut'.||||
FEBRUARY 2001 - Lipp Lucid enter the National 'Battle of the bands' competition, held at the Cavern, Liverpool. The band go's through to the semi-finals.||||
MARCH 2001 - The band progress to the finals and were successful, leaving with £1,000 worth of equipment.||||
JULY 2001 - Lipp Lucid have were offered the chance to perform in front of A&R at "Sound", based in Leicester Square, London, on September 1st. This resulted from the developing interest surrounding the band since the success at several competitions across the country, and the release of their debut CD.||||
AUGUST 2001 - The band plays at the 'Abbey Park Festival', Leicester.||||
JANUARY 2002 - After the departure of both original bass player and drummer, Lipp Lucid set out to find replacements. They succed in finding both, and the new bass player and drummer have become members of the band.||||
FEBRUARY 2002 - The band take a break, and start working on new material.
