Lipp Lucid are a well established Leicester based band formed in April 2000.
In the short period the band have been together they have been recognised for their definitive, commercial sound and mesmorising live performances. Their music is best described as a majestic sweep of pop rock, constantly stretching the barriers with distinctive guitar sounds and unmistakable melodic vocals.
In November 2000 Lipp Lucid took their first step in proving their definitive sound by winning the regional "Battle of the bands" competition held in Leicester. They then went on to take first place in the National competition held at the world famous Cavern in Liverpool, which has since lead to continuous press coverage and media interest.
Past gigs have included such venues as London's Rock Garden, Liverpool's Cavern and Leicester's Abbey Park Festival.
With a debut CD recorded promoting their unmistakable music Lipp Lucid have to be seen. Always recognised as an exciting invigorating experience.
