Artist History Hawkins (alias Blue Sausage Infant) and Egg (alias Haunted Toilet) began corresponding during Hawkins' time with the group PYTHAGORAS. This led to recording sessions in Brooklyn, NY, within three minutes' walk to HOT BAGELS, Kings Highway: open 24 hours (the most psy chedelically wonderful food there is). Under the influence of bagels and caffeine pills, the sessions would go on for twelve hours at a stretch, each responding to the other's lead to produce walls of noise and complex patterns of distorted rhythms. This was an exersize in FREEDOM THRU NOISE, the use of harsh electronics to perform rituals of sheer JOY. The collaboration began in 1988 and continued until Egg's death in 1998. The material offered here was recorded between '88 and '91..
