The collaboration between Haunted Toilet and Blue Sausage Infant spanned nearly a decade, with most recording happening in the late 1980s. Their improvised music featured trance-inducing webs of complex, distorted rhythms and overdriven loops that evolved as the lead was passed from one artist to the other. The music and the method of HT/BSI foreshadowed so-called "happy hardcore techno" by almost ten years. Now, a decade after the limited-edition cassette (warm human refrigerator) was released, I'm making this material available to the universe again.
