A Multi-instrumentalist, John Thomas Griffith is the blonde haired, blued eyed guitar-slinger for the rock group Cowboy Mouth.
His music is of the classic rock vein, in so much that, one song never sounds like the next and his solo work is an eclectic
work of musical styles, arrangements, and moods. A classicaly trained pianist, he also ventures into film scoring.

Artist History
John Thomas Griffith began his musical journey in 1979, forming Americas answer to the Clash, the Red Rockers.
After co-penning the 1983 MTV hit, 'CHINA' and several other minor radio hits, JTG embarked on a solo detour,
releasing the first of two solo cds..'Son of an Engineer', re-released in 2000 on Laughing Gravy Music.
A touring veteran, JTG, helped form the touring juggernaut that is today called, 'Cowboy Mouth'. In August
of 2001, he has released his second solo effort on Laughing Gravy Music,titled, 'Aluminum'. |
