Artist History
I have been playing guitar and keyboards for most of my life. I have played in several bands in L.A. over the past 15 years, including And And And, Sun?60, Little Sister and most currently with the rockin' blues band GAGE (http://mp3.com/gageband). I have recorded several jazz/rock tunes as well as a good deal of movie soundtrack music, some of which is available here. |

Press Reviews
4 1/2 YAKS (out of 5) from mp3yak.com!! (7.27.99) ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Dave Goode (FREE DRUM LOOPZZZ): "You rip bro!" ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Alex Ipfelkofer (KINGs KARMA): "(Your songs) shine, so to speak, out of the grey masses of all those sloppy mp3 files..."Path Less Traveled" is very, very good, complex and very well arranged. I will have many many hours ahead of me of listening pleasure, no doubt." ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Rick Richards (Solo Artist): "Sunset is by far my favorite. Totally killer rhythm...the production is great and the whole thing flows real nice." ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Waldon Reed, Jr. (& The Shapes): "I think the overall sonic production is great..." ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Kevin Smith (The Seven): "Just stumbled across your site at MP3.com and downloaded "NEworld" and just wanted to say how much I dig it. Your tone is sick! I am always looking for good fusion stuff...I'm going to check out more of your stuff right now but I just wanted to let you know that you moved me...I can certainly see why the song "NEworld" made it to the top of the chart." ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Bill Furner (Tile): "Wow, what a treat!..Just nice stuff." ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Paul Laginess of Waldon's band: " Not to revisit a subject already laid to rest but I'm not kidding - a lot of your stuff sounds like it should be on the soundtrack of very high quality porno. I already mentioned "Chant" but "Path Less Traveled" evokes some very heavy sex going on." (ed.: Well allrighty then!!) ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Techsmack wrote: OUTTA SEA - "Real cool stuff. I like the guitar work LOTS! Reminds me of whale calls. Very relaxing." JUNKYARD BLUES - "Coming in like Hendrix...leading into a Floyd-esque groove." ELIZABETH - "Very moody. Changes like my feelings...from one minute to the next. Very natural feeling. Quite "soundtrack-y". Cool stuff!" ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Richard Fairthorne (Ebony Run): NEWORLD - "Cool techno intro. I like the non-standard length phrases. I like the instrument blends? cool stuff." ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: James Dueck (Solo Artist): NEWORLD - "I like the switching between different instruments. This is weird stuff... :)" ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: TheCleanJerk wrote: OUTTA SEA - "This is a great concept...the acoustic and electric duet." ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: FiveWheelDrive wrote: OUTTA SEA - "After listening to this song I started thinking to myself why haven't I listened to this type of music? This is really good! It is now on my playlist. Keep up the good work." ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Sireaxalot (The Verdict): "I've reviewed a whole lot more bands now, and your stuff just sounds so much better than heaps of the other trash. It may just be the fact I like your style. Which I do. I love blues and jazz and old rock. You really have something going on which rocks." NEWORLD - "Interesting modern sounding intro...nice use of sampler...cool bass riff...love the solo." ELIZABETH - "Wow. The only thing I can criticize is the name. The song is awesome. This is the second song of yours I'm reviewing because I dig your stuff...once again you rock...I even liked the drum machine in this one..." "...keep on rocking Michael. I've added your Mp3 to my bookmarks, and will try to keep going there as often as I can." ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: |
