Artist History Kelly J Randall, who had been the guitarist in Anthem, New World Rock,and a solo artist in his own right, met Chris Poteet who was in a band called Body Bag.Chris was then in a band with drummer Paul Bruner, which broke up when Kelly and Chris met. The three then enlisted solo artist Scott Kern and Point Blank's lead singer to form Sweet Licks. The band became legendary in the midwest for their great songs and live showswhich featured the incindiary twin lead guitars of Poteet and Randall, the Fierce drummingof Bruner, the grand instrumental colourings and vocals of Kern, and the soaring lead vocalsof Thompson.
