In 1990, guitarist Chris Poteet (now with Signal 80) and drummer Paul Bruner
were playing in a band together in Indianapolis when Chris met guitarist
Kelly J Randall. Kelly(currently on MP3 with The P.S.R. Project and Still Human) and Chris started writing together and
wanted to get together a band that could perform the songs they were writing.
Chris got a hold of his freind, vocalist and multi instrumentalist Scott Kern(currently a solo artist on MP3)
and, with the addition of vocalist B.J. Thompson(Point Blank), came together to form Sweet Licks
and created some of the best guitar crazy melodic hard rock you will ever hear.This site features music from their one and only
F.B.&C. Recordings release, "Someone's Gonna Get Hurt". It also features rare demo recordings of songs intended for their second c.d.,
which was to be called "Accidental Surgery". Both c.d.s feature the amazing twin lead guitars and the magical songwriting partnership of Chris Poteet and Kelly J Randall, as well
as the fierce, solid drumming of Paul Bruner, the great sonic arrangements of vocalist and multi-instrumentalist
Scott Kern and the soaring vocals of lead singer B.J.Thompson.This music is being re-released by F.B.&C. Recordings
