Artist description The music of BALKAN SPIRIT I had in mind after meeting Rick Wakeman (my keyboard idol) in Ljubljana in May 1988. He visited Yugoslavia for the first (and last) time and he didn’t know the music of Balkan nations. I started to compose to show him musicaly how I had in mind the beauty of my small Slovenia homeland, at the same time I described the land and people all the former Yugoslavia and I have never thought, that BALKAN SPIRIT can be so wild and unhuman, as it happened in Croatia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Serbia, Macedonia . . .
