The melody comes from a heart that is always inquisitive of new sounds and colorful cord progressions. Kirk is an accomplished guitar player and singer. He also writes the lyrics and music to his songs. Kirk also performs songs written by his wife - Dosia who joins him on the flute, piano and background vocals. Artist History Kirk was born and raised in a small town in central Louisiana. His parents bought him his first guitar when he was 14 years old. In those early years a musical seed was planted in him that has been steadily growing nurtured by the gentle leading of God. A friend from church offered voice lessons, another friend encouraged him to pursue a music degree. He quickly discovered that music theory was not his destiny and opted for a different major while continuing to play his guitar and to sing solo and in small ensembles. In 1992, after college graduation, he joined Celebrant Singers on their mission outreach to Cuba and Mexico. During the outreach one of his team mates - a flutist from Poland caught his eye, and as they say it "the rest is history". Kirk and Dosia were married in 1994. They make their home in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Group Members Dosia was born and raised in Poland. She brings a unique quality to the duet being classically trained on flute, piano, and in music theory. As she often likes to tell: "I don't play the guitar, I just tell Kirk how to play it..." She writes and arranges the songs, plays the flute and keyboard, and sings background vocals. Dosia is becoming a songwriter in her own right. Her 3 original songs (The Voice is Calling, Trepidation, and I Could Sing of Starry Nights) are being featured on Kirk's professional demo which is being recorded in Nashville.
