There are seasons in our lives when everything seemingly falls into place, "the home is filled with fragrance of fresh bread" and we are comfortable with the "everydayness" that surrounds us. Yet in the midst of our familiar environment there is a yearning for more purpose, for a higher destiny. In moments like these we can hear the Voice of God calling us to leave our comfort zones behind and to follow Him. On one hand we are ready to follow, but on the other, we are tempted to look back.

For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do - this I keep on doing." And so I find, alng with many others, that this is the batle I need to face myself.
