Artist description
There are a few things on this page to check out. First are four peices for string quartet. Their chord progressions are the same as selected songs from the Beatles record 'Seargant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band', so the peice and its respective song can be played simultaneously. Also here is an old rock-performance art project i wrote for and led 'O Eggbullet'. Be warned, tho.... there is a reason there are 'Parental Advisory' Stickers here. I will say now, i do not actually believe in the subject material of these songs. They are satires. Except for 'we want your money', i'm 100% behind that one. And rounding it off, some random classical and electronic peices for you to enjoy. Feel free to E-mail me with comments, Questions, etc... they are more than welcome. |

Artist History
Grew up in queens listening to lots of heavy metal, hardcore, stuff like that. As i got older, my tastes got more experimental, discovering Ornette Coleman, Art Ensemble of Chicago, etc... as well as more traditional jazz, Lester Young, Parker, Mingus ,etc.... Also modern classical composers, particularly Cage, Riley and LaMonte Young, Shoenberg, etc... Most recently has been the discovery of folk music, from America and elsewhere, thanks to characters like Alan Lomax, Moses Asch, etc... I've done everything from hardcore to folk, to classical and jazz and elsewhere, so i think theres a little of everything here. Enjoy! |

Press Reviews
about NAMBLA- Do you like "The Mothers Of Invention" and "The Violent Femmes"? If not, you might wanna skip this one. If you do like 'em though, this is a must have and you WILL enjoy it. Incredibly strange (though a bit long) with a hilariously classic closing chorus that you will be humming and whistling for some time. Oh, and if you don't know what NAMBLA is, here's your chance to find out.--- 'Must Have Mp3s' about Before the Day- "I don't think I can express how much I like this quartet. If he keeps doing this he will be a powerful force in the music world. His innovation is terrifying. -P. Cole An amazing string quartet, play it along with Sgt Peppers CD or alone and you'll be blown away. My head came seconds from exploding to millions of particles while listening to this CD. You'll love Barry and his wonderfully creative brain. --Roxystudios.com |
