Artist History
Bill DelGovernatore and Rick Moore met in the autumn of 1970. Del was about to enter the Phila.Music Academy as a music and piano major. Rick was a folk-rock singer songwriter still in High School. Together over the next six years they collaborated on some sixty tunes that reflected a varied and often unusual approach to songwriting. From low comedy, surreal , and expressionist lyrics , and music that runs the gamut from rock to theater to classical and jazz influences. This album represents that period in an ironic sense - it belongs to its time - but in the process of re-recording and mixing this it represents some curious interface between two distinct epochs. |
