Artist History Started writing music in 1998 using premade samples with sequencers, got given early versions of rebirth and fruity loops to get to work with so stopped using premade samples and started producing, wrote the occasional track over the space of a year and finished the album 'Twilight Corporation' as Korbit-AI in mid 1999. My pc software collection started to grow as did my tastes in more types of music. I developed an ambient style in 2000 and worked on the album 'Incandescent Orb' as Vortechtral which was finnaly finished 7 months late in September 2001. Over the year my tastes in goa and psy trance grew influencing my music to become more uptempo and funky using acid sounds mixed in with my older industrial sounds creating nearer what i started out to write. Recently finished 'The Vortechs' which is more upbeat and funky, then 'Incandescent Orb', but it also experiments with the goa scene and some industrial ambient tracks towards the end. Have now finished an ep '404' which features a few remixes of '404' along with 3 other tracks, and a 3rd album 'ACID Files' which is based more on Autechre style beats and a darker strings, still using 404s and 303s. Currently working on an album 'Fractalisation' and an EP 'R101', whilst producing uptempo music in a duo as MorphoniX and playing live regularly around the city. Have started producing uptempo tracks as K'A.i. - The harder side of Vortechtral, check out the site at www.k-ai.co.uk
