Artist History
All songs written, performed, engineered and produced by Eclectica -- Jeff Clarke, Russ Epker and Rich Nelson. The band is made up of three 30-something professionals who grew up together in Birmingham, Michigan. Nelson and Epker have played in many groups over the years, including such popular and notable local bands as the Newz, Bitter Sweet Alley, the Skeleton Crew (which was featured on Star Search in the early ‘90’s), the Purple Gang (featuring drummer Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers), General Clusterfunk and the Robert Bradley Blackwater Surprise. The three members also worked at the internationally famed rock n' roll publication, Creem Magazine, during the late ‘70’s, before its demise in print media following the tragic 1980 suicide of founder and owner Barry Kramer. |
