Artist description
brain:blood:volum is a one-man ambient-industrial-electronic project created by and featuring me. Using samplers and guitars as the main instruments, I create trippy electro-pop and rock songs that cover a variety of styles and subject matter. Much of my inspiration comes from the world of radio and TV, since there's always something cool or ridiculous to be sampled! :) |

Press Reviews
brain:blood:volum - demo (CD-R) independent, 2000 - "Like a beautiful car slowly being crushed in time with the beating of ahuman heart, this is downtempo emotional industrial at its' most intensely grinding best. Complete with gothy synths flowing across a sea of infectiously groove ridden percussion and backed with heavily fuzzed laden guitar riffs. The vocal work fleshes itself out in several forms. Succeeding in everything - ranging from harsh screaming, to aggressive whispering, to the alterna-rock ballad work of "Walking Wounded." The demo winds its' way down with an uptempo ambient/noise track, and finally closes with a full on crunching remix of the most aggressive track on the album, "Over It". (Automata Zine) |
