Artist History
the band S no S grew to fill a void in my musical expression. two years ago, after my last band with other members fizzled out i began to notice certain phsychotic disorders developing in the nether regions of my brain. it's these very mental disturbances that have shaped S no S. whenever i play a different insturment on a song i approach it as a different person, and in my head i fully believe i'm someone else...this would bother me if i stopped to think about it. i suppose it all began in a little town called hays, kansas. i founded and sang in the band singe, a critically acclaimed industrial rock 4 piece. after our shows crowd members were over heard laying such praise as "wow they weren't quite as bad as i thought they'd be." or "well at least the line for the keg was short." after the musical ineptitude of the bass player forced the band to split i and two members of singe formed a new band "plaything". after enlisting local drummer god chris leon things pretty well took off. we were by far the most popular band to practice in the basement of the house we lived in. i thought we really had something going but the rest of the band all got on some high horse about their futures and decided to take school and things more serious. so "plaything" went the way of "singe", and i found myself with a four track a couple of guitars and a bass stolen from a friend. add that to an old roland drum machine given to me by local producer/studio owner ronnie hendershottand you have the foundation for S no S. then all i needed was time, and since most television stations stop broadcasting around 3 a.m. i have plenty. so there you have it S no S |
