Artist History
Born in Bloomington, Indiana by lead singer-guitarist, Buddy Fukar, and bassist, Romeo Payne, in 1996, the band never realized it's full potential until it's second incarnation in 2000. The addition of new drummer, Scott Hate, made the band complete. Able to feed of each other's raw energy, the power trio took the band to a new level of sound. Based out of Indianapolis, the band has called Bloomington, Cincinnati, Chicago and at times, South Korea, home. Slaves to our art, Man-e-Taboada will play anywhere, anytime and have. |

Press Reviews
-"I thought there was an earthquake in my office, shit was rattling and falling off the shelves. I saw critters, mice, rats, fleeing in all directions out of the bar. It was amazing." -Mike (ownwer - The Mad Frog (Cincinnati, Ohio) after our first appearance there. -"The victim and assailant had been drinking at a music festival. The assailant threatened to tie the victim to a chair and throw her into the river, a fight ensued, at which point, the assailant proceeded to bite the victim's nipple off." -(Police blotter, Indianapolis Star, after Rockin' The Ravenswood Jam 2000 Ravenswood, Indiana.) -"What I witnessed last week at the mad frog I was totally unprepared for. Mahnytaboda developing a pure unrestrained raw slab of rock culminating in an explosion of intensity that left my jaw hanging loose, my voice gone and my mind a blank. I feel now like a child that got to see old worn pictures of a bicycle and heard stories of how wonderful that bicycle was. At last one day that brand new shiny bicycle finally showed up under his Christmas tree on Christmas morning and it's more beautiful then he even imagined." -MC Nevawak -"This band almost rocks as much as jesus..." -(Dave Cupp/Dophesus) |
