    Artist History
I was a composer and bass player in "Los Amantes de Lola", a popular Rock and Roll band in Mexico which made history for opening space in the media for Mexican Rock bands, having hits in the radio and touring Mexico, U.S.A. and Central America. We opened 3 days for INXS, with 60,000 people every day in 1991 at The Sport's Palace in Mexico City. Those were the first massive concerts of an international pop rock band allowed to play in the city. Before that, it was forbbiden to organize massive concerts. Since we broke up I have been doing bands like "FDC"(Facultad de Ciencias) and "La Creatura" and my own music in my personal studio, now renewed. I have been playing also with other artists as a bass player, and recording for them too (La Candelaria, Leonardo de Lozanne ex-Fobia, Los Nenas, La Mancha, etc....) My personal commitment is to develope myself through my music and keep receiving pleasure from it into this rough and mean bussiness. I play since I was 12 years old and I have been doing it since then. I believe in me and my music, its my life. I ain't no virtuoso, but I enjoy playing every instrument and the whole creative process on each song before recording, that really gets me into the experience of music. I also do it in my own timing, which allowes me to be more relaxed in the process. I do it mostly all alone because in that way I have total control of everything, besides being in a democratic band(as in Los Amantes or La Creatura) represents dealing ideas with others that generates disagreements in musical concepts and you depend on the personal stability of all the members to get things done right, and that's not easy to support because it doesn't depend just on you. Now I prefer to work more my music by myself and then invite musicians to collaborate playing into my concepts, instead of fighting and discussing which direction we should take as in a democratic band. It's clear for me that I want to lead in which direction things are going, not only musically but ideologically and I feel comfortable with that.
    Group Members
I play bass and six strings guitar, keyboards, programming and vocals. I try to get music from every instrument that fall into my hands, drums, harmonica, up-right bass, cello. But I really play more the classical intruments of a 5 members band, that are the ones that I have been more related with.
    Instruments
vocals, bass , acoustic and electric guitars, keyboards, loops and rythm programing.
    Press Reviews
I have been interviewed by people from most of the entertainment media in Mexico, because of Los Amantes de Lola, we got really recognized and people remember very well us. Now there is a new Amantes record: "The best of Los Amantes de Lola" that is available also in the U.S.A and Latin America.
    Additional Info
In this days, I am available as a bass player for any artist that would be interested into inviting me touring. I love playing on the stage and is almost a necessity. I am open to any possibility.Yeah.
