Artist description For those of you new to the music of jERIKO, I am currently producing a stark and dark progressive trance sound with heavy emphasis on rough techno beats and basslines. I am more focused on producing electronic music that makes you wanna move and dance. It is based on a trance/Rave/Techno/Hard House flavour - but each track is something new, something different, something LOUD.Being unsigned at present, jERIKO is busy making money the hard way (9-5 job) whilst attending to his creative needs in his spare time - there are plenty of new tracks waiting to be laid down, but only so much time to do it in.

Artist History The latest news from jERIKO.January 8th, 2001Well, i’ve just about recovered from the new year partying rituals. Santa brought me plenty of music software for christmas, and after listening to the demo samples that ship with the products, i’m very impressed.My next project (after finalising the current tracks) will be a 100% software generated track. I think I am going to use a product called “FruityLoops” (which, for those who don’t know, is similar to ReBirth) to generate the track - using a software sampler in order to get tones for the channels. December 27th, 2000Ordered a copy of Propellerheads “Reason” after reading the review in SoundOnSound and Computer Music - it looks the business! Preparing for a new year jaunt to GateCrasher (Sheffield) or GodsKitchen (Birmingham) - don’t know which yet!Decemeber 11th, 2000Currently I am working on a hard house track along the lines of “Operation Blade” - i.e. with a hard kick drum chorus. The effort is getting the right kick drum samples - i’m checking the net sources (such as www.samplenet.co.uk) but am having know luck - i’d give my right nut to know how ChemicalBro’s get their drum sounds - ah well, perhaps thats why they have sh*t loads of dollar, and i’m off to work tomorrow :-)Pre-December, 2000 Archived!
