My music covers a wide spectrum of jazz, from bebop to standards to funk to latin to "smooth" jazz. The idea that holds it all together is that the groove comes first, last and always. Artist History George Kahn is a jazz pianist who has played in and around Los Angeles for the last 20 years. His current group features M.B. Gordy on drums, Karl Vincent on Bass, Bobby Rodriguez on trumpet and Eric Marienthal on saxes. They have been featured in the premiere jazz rooms of Los Angeles, such as the Jazz Bakery and Catalina Bar and Grill. George's misson in life is to return jazz to the glory days before synthesizers and drum machines raomed the earth.
