Artist description David Wright is a eclectic artist/guitarist/composer with a lot of interests and different musical tasts. Most of the music heard on this site at the moment is from a few years ago when i was playing more instrumental "fusion" (and jazz) influenced music. At the moment i am mostly freelancing in a few NYC area bands and with singer songwriters. The music i am now working on is much more "contemporary or popular" oriented, more oriented toward featuring a vocalist and probably more on the side of rock. Som e current bands i really like are Thursday, Lost Prophets, Perfect Circle, Blind Hate Experiment, Tool, of course.Switched, Edwin McCain, Mary J. Blige, Deftones, Duncan Sheik, Ani DiFranco, Firehouse, Slipknot, Staind, Joan Osbourne, Vertical Horizon, Tr ain, Keith Caputo, Goo goo Dolls ... etc,. then of course a lot lf "old" music, like Frank Zappa, Jade, 702, SWV, the Fixx, Seal, K.D. Lang, Eric Johnson, random 80's Metal, etc, etc,... I like a lot of different stuff but it's getting more "mainstream" because people don't seem to buy or support this Instrumental type of music and i really want to play music for people to enjoy and hear.
