Artist History
The Dits recorded obscure ditties in their home studios between 1981 and 1990 using countless line-ups centered around Scott Lucas and the late Brian Keys. The distinctive honor of most guest appearances during this era goes to Pink Bob. Lucas and Pink joined forces with Matt Seniff (The Sediments, W.T. Fits, The Chronomatics) to form Dits 2000 in July, 2000. Two live performances and three studio CDs (all doubles) were released in just six months by Dits 2000. The Modern Dits Quintet takes the core of Dits 2000 and adds Ken Thornton and Mike Manna to form the perfect noise band. TMDQ was formed on November 29, 2000, especially for a live performance at Lizard's Lounge. The band is also threatening studio work as well.. |
