	Disc Two of the amazing "Caesarean Session" double CD opens with yet another fantastic example of The Dits' direct-to-stereo approach to recording. Truth be told, with the exception of one project from 1986 and some "lost recordings" from '89/'90, they've ALWAYS recorded this way, going back to the very first session in September, 1981...

	An interesting aspect of The Dits is their ability to approach music with conventional tools but without any pre-conceived notions about how they should be used. On the one extreme are artists who won't play a single note outside a pentatonic scale for an entire career; on the other, those who would rather die than use a 12-tone scale (let alone a major chord!) "Stella..." owes its soul to that space between Pythagorean purity and noise.
