Artist History
Zweben grew up in a middle class family in
Milwaukee. He hit the town fair circuit
at 15. Ended up in Minneapolis in the mid-90's,
performing acoustic sets in Dinkytown, where
Dylan had begun performing years ago. Zweben
than headed to New York City in '96 where he
was turned on to the anti-folk movement, broken
romance, political openmindedness. Zweben's
songs started taking structure influenced by
the new world around him. After a brief stunt
in Chapel Hill N.C. recording his debut album that
never saw the light of day with End Of The World
Records, Zweben and his band have made it to
la la land. Here he plans on conquering the world.
End of story.
