There is some great synthesised music here. 'Mars the Bringer of War' by Holst, is an example of brilliant arranging and new orchestration of the classical masterpiece. A considerable amount of work has been done in creating a soundscape that adhers to the original, but adds unusual sounds and dynamics. A great rendition indeed and well worth listening to.

I have always loved Holst's planets suite, and had an old vynyl copy which was in need of replacement. I stumbled across Stuart's arrangements of the Suite and was very impressed by the quality and the attention to detail in his performance - no less than you would expect from a classically trained musician. This artist is no "stuffed shirt" however - equally at ease with contemporary music. This is an artist everyone should listen to at least once - though be prepared to come back for more - you will find it hard not to.
