Artist History
At the time of these recordings there wasn't much history to report, even if you could decipher it from the few sources that even knew THICK existed. Some people claim that Floppy Blackburn hand picked the boys in the band based on personality, ability to handle alcohol and drugs, and their individual arrest records. This is only one story of many. Who really knows? Floppy Blackburn knows. The line-up of course was slightly different from the line-up of today. Doc Dickery(who would later leave the band to do volenteer medical work in Somalia) plays guitar on all of these tracks(not Skitz O'Fuel who at the time was merely a co-writer of the material). Gutter River(who would die only 2 years after this recording under mysterious circumstances) sings all of these tracks(not Deacon Bones). |
