A fusion of full force screaming, sweet melodies, de-tuned aggressive guitars, ground shaking bass and off beat pounding drums complete the -ism foursome. Technical yet easy to the ear, when listened to more closely more behind the scenes work become evident. |

Artist History
-ism were formed in late 1999 have had a number of member changes and since then have gone on to perform an excellent live show and release a professionally recorded EP entitled 'MomentarylapseofReason' (September 2000 - with original lineup) and more recently Oct/Nov 2001, 'Demise of Realisation'. They have developed their own sound with the new members, and recent new songs show a number of unique vocal dynamics and unconventional time signatures, combining very metal guitar riffs, with huge melodys as a yet another layer to the sound. Having played with Lost Prophets, Breed 77, Kilkus, Sugarcoma and InMe amonst others, -ism are still looking to go further. If u like anything within the realms of Defones, Sevendust, Glassjaw, and the slightly more soulful emotional side of metal, or bits of each then its likely that u could get down with -ism. |
