    Artist History
Founded in 1997 by keyboardist Joseph Anastacio Glean, VALEDICTION came together with the teamwork and assistance from such musicians as Robert Sweet (Stryper, King James), Michael Bailey (Stryper, Danger Angel), Dan Wilkinson (Armageddon, Taker), Kevin Potter (Taker), Rick May (dcTalk, Jacob's Dream), Rob Johnson (Magnitude 9, Jacob's Dream), P.J. Bussey (Armageddon, Taker), and sound engineer Dan Teckenbrock (Jacob's Dream). Joseph Anastacio Glean also records with the band Magnitude 9, which is a progressive metal supergroup featuring Joe along side musical greats Rob Johnson (Jacob's Dream), John Homan (Alcazar, Chris Steberl), Corey Brown (Psyco Drama), and Kevin Chown (Artension, Edwin Dare, Tony MacAlpine). Joe has also performed live with the band SinDizzy, at the time with members Oz Fox (Stryper), Bobby MacNeil, John Bocanegra, and former member Tim Gaines (Stryper). Joe's first choice in musical equipment includes Roland brand keyboards & sound modules, Roland VS-Series Hard Disk & Alesis ADAT recording gear, and Mackie sound boards... for building superior finger strength Joe proudly uses and endorses GripMaster & FingerPump brand finger exercisers.

    Press Reviews
METAL EDGE, which is hard rock's #1 best selling magazine in the world, published a special issue entitled “WHAT'S HOT FOR 1999 – Record & Road Preview,” (APRIL 1999 – VOL. 42 – NO. 11) which hit the newsstands on January 1, 1999. In the Metal Wire column of this issue––which was authored by METAL EDGE's executive editor GERRI MILLER––the VALEDICTION project was mentioned with great fanfare amongst other impending releases of that year from bands such as MARILYN MANSON, KISS, MEGADETH, METALLICA, SLAYER, NINE INCH NAILS, ALICE IN CHAINS, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, JANE'S ADDICTION, MATCHBOX 20, PORNO FOR PYROS,ANGRA, GUARDIAN, MÖTLEY CRÜE, DREAM THEATER, STEVE VAI, NEIL ZAZA, ROB ZOMBIE, HOLE, GREEN DAY, and FEAR FACTORY ... VALEDICTION has also received international press from magazines such as Japan's #1 metal magazine, BURRN!, a magazine which is considered by some to be the premier metal magazine in the world, bar none... And we've even received publicity in the Christian hard rock market from HEAVEN'S METAL, which is the #1 Christian Hard Rock magazine, and averaging some 14,000+ magazine sales per month it's become the #2 best selling music magazine in ALL of Christendom, second only to the mammoth CCM. Special thanks goes out to Gerri Miller, Doug Van Pelt, and the distinguished & honorable Masa Ito for graciously standing by us and helping to promote our name in a very competitive world-wide market. Thanks also to our friends at WREATHE OF THORNS (New Zealand), FEAST OR FAMINE (USA), YOUNG GUITAR (Japan), SOUND BARRIER (England), METAL INVADER (Germany), and METAL HAMMER (Germany). We greatly appreciate your efforts on our behalf.
