    Artist description
These are simply songs that I've composed, arranged, and sequenced on my PC using a couple of shareware programs.
    Music Style
Instrumental electronic funk, fusion jazz, r&b, hip-hop, rock, and whatever.
    Musical Influences
Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder, Average White Band, Stan Kenton, Jay Chattaway, Maynard Ferguson, Dave Brubeck, Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass, John Williams, et al
    Similar Artists
Tower of Power, Rhythm Heritage, the Ventures, Walter Murphy, Chicago, Mannheim Steamroller, Tito Puente (that one, I admit, is a bit of a stretch), Nintendo 64 (or so I've been told)
    Artist History
In college, I was a music major, and loved to write and arrange songs, and play them when I could. A few years back, my instruments (a tenor sax and concert flute) were stolen, so that somewhat stifled that outlet for me. I'm posting this material in hopes of raising enough money (in conjunction with other efforts, of course) to buy replacements -- at which time I'll be opening a page of my own funk-jazz stuff.
    Group Members
Bob Greenwade - composer, arranger, sequencer, what have you.
    Instruments
Sampled instruments on computer (using Audio Compositor; see Links). I've set it up as a ten-person 'band' with a five-person horn section, based loosely on the Tower of Power model (though the wind players do plenty of 'doubling' on other intruments, including flugelhorn, flute, clarinet, shakuhachi, and contrabass sarrusophone).
    Albums
Current: Music for San Angelo; Bible Scenes; Autobiography; 9-11; I Was In a Weird Mood That Day; A Bob's Computer Christmas; Lay Down the Funk; Mellow Out; Programmed Jazz; De-Compositions. (Many more in progress!)
    Press Reviews
"He's definitely the King of MIDI." -- Bruce Chambers, MP3 Artists Review, 22 June 2001 (inaugural webcast).
