This piece from Nicolay Rimsky-Korsakov is possibly one of the most familiar melodies in classical music. It's been adapted to modern sounds in the past by Al Hirt, Walter Murphy and many others. Here's where I give it my own treatment.

Antonin Dvorak's Ninth Symphony in E Minor, colloqually called "From the New World," is believed to have been inspired by Negro spirituals and other influences gained during his years in the United States. This tune takes the melody from the "Largo" movement, probably Dvorak's most recognizable, and gives it a modern twist.
