Artist description
My primary goal with Eidolon Named Night is to write good music. A great deal of the sound revolves around composition the old fashioned way with nothing in front of me but paper and pen. |
|
Music Style
Dramatic gothic ballads with strong classical leanings. |
|
Musical Influences
The Cure, Xymox and Clan thereof, Joy Division, Bauhaus, Dead Can Dance, classical composers and theorists. |
|
Similar Artists
None really. Our sound is really quite unusual, though it is certainly influenced by the artists above among others. |
|
Artist History
Not much of one. I was determined to be a musician and singer so I started taking courses and reading books on music theory, playing the bass, and spending endless hours downloading musical software and trying it out. I'm finally beginning to have some good output. |
|
Group Members
At present, all the songs and lyrics are written, programmed, and performed by me, Jesse Cross-Nickerson. Soon however, I will be joined by a guitarist and programmer who will hopefully help in writing and recording some really good music. |
|
Instruments
Bass, synthesizers |

None yet. Pretty soon we'll start to release some EP's via this site and see where that goes. I can see an album coming not too far down the road. |
