Artist History
The group was formed in August of 1983. Fred Ray and Tom Haney, who are brothers, are the orginal founders of the Goose Creek Boys. Fred and Tom have written the words and music for many of the songs for the group. In the beginning our music was played for free at Churches, Resthomes, and other community fund rasing related activities. We enjoy singing gospel music for the shutin's and to those folks who would not otherwise have an opportunity to listen to and participate in singing with live gospel music. We still receive a tremendous blessing from doing this and we will continue to do so. |
