    Artist description
The Flemish composer, writer and philosopher Johan Sanctorum invited three gifted young singers to make a selection out of two "works -in-progress": the "Cesare Borgia"-opera and his Requiem (which is a grotesque fantasy about the mediaval Reynard-the-Fox-tale). The result is a fascinating little song cycle for female voices, introducing us in the strange universe of love, ecstasy, madness and death. The combination of these "romantic" topics -elaborated in a neoromantic, postmodern style, tempered and enlightened by a particular sense of humour and "parodical" instinct- with the newest synthesizer technology and the composer's experimental research in developping digital piano sounds, constitutes the expressive richness of his lyrical-dramatical idiom. Two instrumental pieces, "The Ecstasy of Theresa" and the "Tarantella" form the epilogue of this walk in a landscape of extreme emotionality and female libido.

    Artist History
Haar solorepertoire omvat o.m. Czipra ("Der Zigeunerbaron"/J. Strauss), de Heks ("Hänsel und Gretel"/E. Humperdinck) en Charlotte ("Werther"/J. Massenet).
