Artist description Volvo Maroon is a homegrown pop-rock band who have been playing and recording together since 1990. We call our blend of high-energy musicianship with comic sensibilities "Fun Rock." Our influences include They Might Be Giants, Monty Python, The Cars and the 1980s generally. We offer humorous original songs in several styles, as well as straight-ahead rock numbers. Besides all being accomplished singers, we play a variety of instruments, most commonly guitar, bass and keyboards.
