Artist History In Nov. 1996Lori went into a pawn shop looking for a boom box for work. She ended upleaving the pawn shop with a boombox and a 12 string guitar. Forabsolutely no reason she bought a guitar. Frankly it didn't fit into thebudget at the time. Anyway we went to a friend of ours, Jeff S., who gaveus guitar lessons..a few chords etc. As it turns out I became addicted toplaying the guitar. I was and am absolutely driven by this thing. We thentaught ourselves further. Suddenly I started writing songs out of theblue. I'd find some catchy tune and then words just starting coming withthe melody. A song would take about an hour to write. It's almost as ifsomeone from beyond this life is writing through me I can't explain it. It's as if I've been given a gift. And it's been since I started doingHospice. I've learned to really pay attention to things that happen inlife. I met Lori and she brought the music to me. It just so happens wereally like playing it together. So many things or coincidences ( which Idon't believe in ) have occurred since we started the music. Things thatcontinually keep directing us down this path. And that's an even longerstory. We started performing for private parties and various events. People seem to like our music. They continue to ask us play for them. Wedecided to take it public. So here we are.Cathy
