Artist History
Back in 1986, when I was a student in L.A., I went to see John Doe perform solo for the first time....The venue was the backroom of McCabe's (a guitar shop), and the hundred or less people in attendance were entirely taken in...myself included, of course. "I want to be able to do that-" I thought. I've been playing and writing, alone and/or with others, ever since. Past projects include The Headcheese Maybes, The Easy Hoes, The Bathtub Marys, Molehill, Kim Rohrbach and Les Insourcicables, and Four Eyes. |

Press Reviews
"F*cking awesome. The production is great and these songs are extremely touching and personal." -Ian C. Stewart, AUTOREVERSE (reprinted in MOO)******"The music is based around the acoustic guitar, and the moods range from upbeat to downright depressing. Kim's voice is eerie to listen to, and is good for times when you just want to sit around alone....Kim sounds like she could become an Indie rock superstar." - Christopher L. Moore, SIDETRACKED******"....while the songwriting, singing, and minimal instrumentation is very good, probably the greatest strength...is the overall production. All of the instuments, the vocals, the overall ambience of the sound is beautiful. - W.S., CAKE Magazine |
