Artist description
PFL's haunting piano solos overwhelm the listener with intense longing and turbulent emotion. His on-going study of classical piano and Gregorian chant have influenced his piano compositions, making for a melancholic sound with a passionate and stormy soul. He has recently performed piano music for a German/French television documentary on Edgar Allan Poe to be aired across Europe on ARTE in April 2000. |

Press Reviews
Review of "Nocturne de la nuit blanche" : To say I was impressed by your "sleepless nocturne" would be not giving it the justice it deserves. It's all very well winning me over. I am after all a member of that often forgotten band of people, the general public and we go to concerts and buy CDs. But what do the real music aficionados think of it? There is a beautiful theme there. Turbulent, but restrained. There doesn't seem to be much modern classical music of this calibre about. Listening to your piece, the listener is spared the pain, but given the emotion. That's good! Jon Cash - UK Independent Music Critic |
