Dismantled Self-Titled on Metropolis Records and Dependent

"One of the hottest tips in the electro underground, the American project Dismantled came to the attention of both Dependent and Metropolis. Instead of a bitter bidding war, the two labels decided to sign the band independently for their respective territories: in June the debut album from Dismantled will be released in North America by Metropolis and in Europe by Dependent. The 9 track demo album caught the attention of both labels as one of the best dark electronic projects to appear in recent years. While reminiscent of early-period Haujobb or the glory days of Frontline Assembly, Dismantled's unique and mature sound distinguish them from the endless parade of copycats. "For those who can't get into the omnipresent Future Pop sound, Dismantled will provide an impressive alternative," says Dependent label head Stefan Herwig."
