Shamosaurus consists of one part Brett John Tollis
one part Henry Moray, and two parts of distilled
Pine scented disinfectant.
The birth of this dynamic duo can be traced to a
small, slightly stinky town in the New South Wales
of Australia called Goulburn, in the month of
March, the year of 1999.
Which is interesting in itself, for by a bizarre
set of coincedences, that was the very same month
that contained the day during which David
Frederick Smythe set out for the London
interchange from Ruttlings Downs, leaving behind
his bed and two well-read car magazines.
During this famed month, on the days of the 9th
through to the 13th, Shamosaurus recorded their
first set piece for the ornamental shelf of Pop
music. It was called Themes for the White Twelve
Seater, in honour of group therapy, day trips to
the shopping centre, and restrained sleeping
environments.
And so now, with the aid of one very old electric
guitar,(which suffered a cruel death some months
ago),a stylishly taped up bass guitar, and the
faithful $20 Casio, a new era of Rock music has
arrived.
Combining a passion for geological inconsistencies
with the sturdy drum patterns of the Casio(8 pre-
sets in all), Shamosaurus truly rocks on.
