(NOTE: This song requires Fast Connection for full appreciation of it's production - LoFi does not do it proper justice!!) Via Kevin D. Astl: Steve Hawthorne and I got together to jam for the first time in August 1999, and this song is the result of one afternoon's worth of work. A somewhat shreddy, double bass-heavy groove, with a hauntingly eerie acoustic overlay, and Steve turns in an emotionally wrenching solo performance in two spots. Reminiscent of Shrapnel-era shred stuff, with a punchy and thrusty production. Speedy in parts, too! Enjoy! |

Via Kevin D. Astl: This is, once again, Steve Hawthorne and I, but this time we wanted to do a little something with a dance-y, industrial groove. "Devil Dance" is the result, a percussive, regimented assault on your senses, punctuated by vocal clips from several classic horror flicks (Can you name them all?). Evil, chilling in spots, but with a beat that'll make you get up and move! |

Via Kevin D. Astl: Tony Teegarden (ex-Cynic) and I got together shortly before the Christmas holiday to try and write some material. The groove was not there as to original stuff, but we collaborated on this twisted take on the classic "Jingle Bells," just for fun, and to sing along to at parties. Super heavy and, especially the verses, where Tony placed a dissonant, cacophonous little guitar trill that makes the song, well, evil. A little late in the season for such holiday fare, but enjoy! |
