General comments:
Clark, as you know I liked Savannah Fugue Remix and Amazon Jam. I listened to The Fall of Autumn a little while ago, and am listening to For Clara now. These are really sophisticated and beautiful pieces of music to my ear. Oh, I really like this sort of minimalist thing that's happening in For Clara now, and the way you are developing it. Rather abrupt ending, must listen again ...

I hope it goes number one! It is very cool.
The more I get to know your music the more I am digging it. I've listened to a few others of yours the last few days and have to tell you I truly have enjoyed them. Your guitar playing is very cool.

Amazon Jam" is a soothing piece of new-age ambient music with lush synth chords and a melodic trumpet solo. I like the arrangement- it gets quiet then picks-up again and then gets quiet again. Those dynamics keep the interest up and creates a dramatic effect. The tone and phrasing of the trumpet is very pleasing. Kinda reminds me of when I was a kid listening to Herb Alpert.

Savannah Fugue Remix: Savannah Fugue Remix: I'm crazy about this track, and would like to use it (in part) on the NPR station I work for. The Xylophone work is a great basis for the synth to expand and contract at various levels in my psyche. I'm then transported into a floating multi-colored grid full of hopefull wonderment. The orchestra hits keep me waiting for the next one in eager anticipation. At around 3/4 through the song, the noble quality of your renaissance style melodies is to be respected and enjoyed. Combining the two worlds at the conclusion really impressed me the most. *Very* good Clark.
Let me know if you'd like to have your music in part (NOT re-edited) on an NPR affiliate. Thanks so much for posting, Clark. I'm officially hooked on the Savannah Fugue Remix.

Hi Clark! I've just been playing 'Savannah Fugue Remix' & love the way it builds up. A very much African feel to it too - yeah!
Good luck with getting to the top with some of the most involved minimalist music I've heard!

The Fall Of Autumn:A well crafted symphonic piece which I thinks describes the mood you were trying to create, although it does sometimes sound a bit like a death march...

Cool symphonic song. well thought out piece of music. Sounds like you are a classically trained musician to put together a piece like this. The recording is top notch...to my ears anyway.I enjoyed listening to this song, and highly recommend others to take a listen to this stellar piece of music.

The Fall of Autumn has a very haunting melody. I think it would be great as a
film score for a major motion picture. You certainly have compositional
talent, and those Roland sounds are killing.

Just a fun blues song about sweetiehearts, daddys, busses and blues.
"What a fun song!! I really enjoyed listening to this song! It really gets to the heart of blues, i especially liked the horns. You don't hear many horns in blues anymore. Cool organs in the back really add the blues feel to it. Thank YOU for turning me onto this song!"
Nate Osit
"Clark great quote and even greater tune. I love the horn's big time. I am a Jew with the Blues and this blues tune just rocks my world. Well done. Thanks. BTW did mention that those are some hot guitar licks too. It's increadable what a Geezer can do from a bed pan."

Tone poem about the dying days of Autumn and the transition to Winter. That time when the first snows come to the Rockies and the days alternate between crisp and sunny to dark and somber. |
