The Butta Babees are a Montreal based hip hop crew
that have been crafting their sound over the last
5 years. With a Manchilde 12 inch single "Get Down
Like That"/ "Man 'N Motion" out now and a full
length album Urban Eloquent to follow. They've
Shared the stage with some of Hip Hop's (& Musics)
Best, Mos Def & Jill Scott, J-live & Slum Village
to name a few. Their video's have recieved
critical acclaim, "Understand Yourself" was
nominated for best indipendant video for the
Much Music Video Awards (MMVA's). In 2000 they
Won Best Unsigned Band for CMW (Canadian Music
Week), wich got them a EP release w/ Universal
Music called "The Entree".
