     Welcome to my page

If it's slide guitar you like, then you've come to the right place. For guitar buffs, I always play in drop D tuning (D A D G B E) and I use a heavy brass slide. The tunes below are a mixture tracks off an album (darker image) I did a few years ago and mini instrumentals I do here (lighter image), sitting at the computer. Help yourself to the download.

I'm also the author of The Truly Totally Different Guitar Instruction Book, PlaneTalk. I sell this all over the World from one of my sites, and I'm the creator of Guitar for Beginners dot Com, a site which gets over 700 visits per day now. Drop in and say hi if you in the guestbook, why don't you?

Thanks for dropping in and enjoy your stay.

A slide-heavy percussion propelled bluesy kind of tune. This tune was one of 100 (out of hundreds of thousands) to appear on Mp3's Flashback 2000 promotional CD. It has been top 40 in the General Blues genre for weeks now. DOWNLOAD IT FREE.

A bluesy kind of thing with the highest slide guitar ever recorded. For some reason, everyone has trouble clapping along with (real) handclaps. Strange, because they're right on the first beat of the bar. I have written out the TAB for the acoustic intro to this song. You can find it at http://Lorange.Kirk.net/calw.htmll

One of the many home recorded instrumentals on this page. This time I'm experimenting with the cut n paste feature of Pro Tools Free, setting up a groove for the slide Strat.
