The DEEP SIX Demos:
Most of these experiments were recorded between 1996 and 1999 as the scratch-acid test for the William Knight home studio, called "DeepSIx". They primarily represent compositions which fell into the period between Liquid Flame and Uni. There are also peices here which were created outside of the many group projects in which involvement continues.
The instrumentation on this page is that of an expanded JV-90, and other minor synths running on Performer sequencing software, with additional splatterings of vocal, guitar, and sound FX and other conjurations; a one-man-show.
William is involved in many other ongoing projects, including synth collaboration for performance art and sound experiments, lead vocals for theatrical performances, and backdrop production for selected solo artists. For a few of the other recorded projects, see the "links" section of this site.
New worthy solo tracks which continue to pile up and linger on the back burners will also be added to this page, as they are inspired and completed.
