His eclecticism and scewed perspective also brings to mind Beck,albeit with much more subtle and subdued hip hop and soul influences.
There's always something new floating out of the mix with every listen, and a nice trashy edge to the amalgam of pop, rock, blues, and everything else, not to mention a wealth of barbed hooks, makes it a continual pleasure.
