DAGELFISH are a big group, with a big range of sounds and styles! They started jamming together late last year and on an adrenaline-soaked "one-night-only" gig (supposedly) to 200 ravers at WESTONEFOUR in November 2002, they discovered more chemistry! The wide range of musical inputs means the band has many influences, including jazz-based vocals , "west coast" harmonies, rich keyboards and a funky back-line. They are vocal, harmonic and their music is rich with colours! Recent gigs at the Betsey Trotwood (Farringdon July 5th 2003) and Water Rats Theatre (King's Cross October 25th 2003) showcased the band's talent for writing original and diverse material. Both venues were packed with dancing bodies (listen to "rockin", an mp3 live clip from the Water Rats gig, on the band's website)!
