Great synth work, very melodic with a refreshingly distorted bassline. Instead of the typical 4/4 quater note kick, it kicks on: and one, and two, and three...Kinda hip hop pattern and it works well. Lots of stuff going on, then the chorus of synths hit and it's pretty nice. The last thirty secs let it all loose and it's pretty interesting. The vocals are minimalist but consist of a man's low whisperish chanting almost. He's in pretty good tune and contributes pretty well to the song, it adds a little contrast to the heavy synth work, which make room for the vocal when it comes in for just a couple verses. Fun song, sounds professional and the tune's catchy. |
